A new great success for the second edition of Breastics24h!
More than 2000 participants from all around the world!
An around-the-clock event following the daylight starting from Central Europe moving on to the West, making a full turn around the globe and finishing at Eastern Europe the day after.
Highly experienced surgeons from all around the world took part in this event by giving lectures, showing videos of different surgical techniques, communicating at structured panels, discussing challenging cases, performing role-plays and answering questions from the attendees.
Together with iBreastBook, Oncoplastic Academy, The American Society of Breast Surgeons, Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand, the Chinese Breast Cancer Society, the Association of Breast Surgeons of India, Senaturk and the Hellenic Society of breast Surgeons, G.Re.T.A. was partner of this great initiative!
We share the G.Re.T.A. chapter with interviews to Masters and Promises of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, technical videos and panel discussions of very challenging cases in oncoplastic surgery.

Breastics24h - Edition 2021
G.Re.T.A. was pleased to participate to an extraordinary online educational project for breast Oncoplastic surgeons called Breastics24h, a 24h-event following the daylight starting from Central Europe on 25th September 2021 at noontime UTC, moving on to the West, making a full turn around the globe and finishing at Eastern Europe on 26 September 2021 at noontime UTC.
Breastics 24h was conceived by Prof. Bahadir Gulluoglu, breast Oncoplastic surgeon from Turkey and thanks to the collaboration of eight specialty-specific bodies including societies, academies and web-based organizations from eight different meridians/time zones of the world: Group for Reconstructive and Therapeutic Advancements (GReTA, Italy), iBreastBook (UK), Oncoplastic Academy (OA)-Brazil, American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS), Breast Surgeons of Australia & New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ), Chinese Breast Cancer Society (CBCS), Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI) and Senology Academy-Turkey (SENATURK).
The event has been a great success in terms of participation with an extraordinary interaction between panelists, speakers and attendees.
We have the pleasure to share the session proposed by G.Re.T.A. in collaboration with the Central-Eastern European Breast Cancer Surgical Consortium and the Oncoplastic Breast Consortium, proposing 4 sessions, starting from interviews to Master and Promises of Oncopplasic Breast Surgery, continuing with a Surgical Video session, a Role Playing on Shared Decision Making and ta simulation of a multidisciplinary meeting discussing challenging breast cancer cases.
